At Village Edu, We Bring the Zoo to You!

We teach about the natural world using live animals. All of our lessons include hands on interactions with the critters we are learning about. We specialize in arthropods and have more than 65 different species (tarantulas, scorpions, beetles, mantids, etc.) that we can showcase in our lessons. We partner with many other zoos and can also facilitate shows with mammals, reptiles, and more.

This old proverb reminds us that children develop best when they are part of a community that collectively takes on responsibility for educating and guiding them. At Village Edu, it is our mission to be the reliable and inspiring environmental mentors that children need.

Looking to the future

Village Edu brings hands-on arthropod education into the classroom. We offer live-animal interactive lessons that are aligned with the Next Generation Science Standards and incorporate the most current scientific concepts for kids. It is of the highest importance to us that our students gain experience collecting data in a positive and inspiring way. Our programs provide a chance for students to participate in the process of science and find purpose in their contributions to credible research that has a clear long-term public benefit.

In addition to game changing educational programs, Village Edu uses student collected data to study and publish new scientific research. This allows for valuable contributions to the environmental community and a new look into vital information that can shape our future knowledge of the world around us.
